Puppetry Unit

Our newest unit is working on a theme for puppetry.  Students will practice research skills as they learn about famous puppeteers, famous puppets, the art of puppetry, the types of puppets, and other information about puppetry.  The students will practice Common Core skills in language and writing as they write and perform skits.  The students will also learn about Character Traits as they create skits that involve an issue of today such as "bullying" with positive solutions to each skit.  The students are very excited about this unit.

The Letter Project,,,,,Attribute Letters

The students are so proud of their work that is displayed on the wall outside the door. Mrs. Fulton and some teachers have told the students how pretty their work is. Mr. Land was so kind to come to the school and hang each student's work. Friends and classmates of the students have said some very NICE things about the beautiful "Attribute Letters". I (Mrs. Land) am very proud of the work and the time and the diligence that the students put into this project. Following are many pictures of the letters. More may be uploaded each day. ENJOY!!!!
